Why?

Did you ever ask why Fr Joseph Cardijn wanted to start the YCW?

Or indeed why so many young people decided to join the movement?

Is it not intriguing that in a world devoid of internet and email and cheap flights he
            raised a worldwide movement that made sense to so many?

What is making it more difficult today to pass on the message? 

Do we have too much noise around us? or aren't we just shouting enough?

Or could we just have no time for silence? 

This blog hopes to let us look at this great dreamer, architect, friend and priest.

In the hope that we may all take time to reflect on his teachings, his words and actions, understanding further his 99% reflection and 1% action measure.

In the belief that through such reviews we may realise that it is within the reach of Young Christian Workers and indeed the young at heart who accompany them "to conquer the world" and make it a better place!
